BabyWise (“we”, “the app”) is a local-first pregnancy companion. This policy explains what we do and do not collect when you use https://babywise.pages.dev and related preview URLs.

1. Local-first data
Your pregnancy profile, born-baby profiles, calendar events, labor sessions, medicine logs, readings, Ask history, language, and settings are stored only in this browser’s local storage on your device. We do not operate a BabyWise user account database or cloud sync of your personal health journal.
- No login is required for calendar and week tracking.
- You can erase local data anytime with “Clean local data” in Settings, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

2. Ask (AI providers)
When you use Ask, the question, any optional context you include, and any photo you attach are sent to our Worker, which calls the AI provider you chose in Settings (for example Gemini, OpenAI, Grok, or Claude) with a server-side API key. You do not paste an API key in the app. Photos are compressed on your device before upload and are not stored as a server-side medical record.
- We do not store Ask chats, photos, or your calendar as a server-side medical record.
- The chosen provider processes the prompt (and image, if any) under that provider’s terms; usage counts against the app operator’s project quota.

3. Hosting and analytics
The app is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most websites, hosting may log standard request metadata (for example IP address, URL, user agent) for security and operations. That is not the same as storing your calendar or pregnancy notes.
We may use Google Tag Manager when a container ID is configured for
the deployment (build env VITE_GTM_ID). If unset, no GTM
script is loaded. Tags are designed to measure the product, not your
due date, medicine names, calendar contents, or Ask questions.

4. Medical disclaimer
BabyWise is not medical advice. Ask results and any AI-generated text can be wrong. Always confirm with a qualified clinician.

3. 託管與分析
