BabyWise (“we”, “the app”) is a local-first pregnancy companion. This policy explains what we do and do not collect when you use https://babywise.pages.dev and related preview URLs.

1. Local-first data
Your pregnancy profile, calendar events, medicine logs, readings, Ask history, language, and settings are stored only in this browser’s local storage on your device. We do not operate a BabyWise user account database or cloud sync of your personal health journal.
- No login is required for calendar and week tracking.
- You can erase local data anytime with “Clean local data” in Settings, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

2. Ask (Gemini)
When you use Ask, the question (and any optional context you include) is sent to our Worker, which calls Google’s free-tier Gemini API with a server-side API key. You do not sign in with Google and you do not paste an API key in the app.
- We do not store Ask chats or your calendar as a server-side medical record.
- Google processes the prompt under Google’s terms for the Generative Language API; usage counts against the app operator’s project quota.

3. Hosting and analytics
The app is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most websites, hosting may log standard request metadata (for example IP address, URL, user agent) for security and operations. That is not the same as storing your calendar or pregnancy notes.
We use Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-WFQ3VHZM) for product analytics such as anonymous page views and feature usage. Tags are designed to measure the product, not your due date, medicine names, calendar contents, or Ask questions.

BabyWise is not medical advice. Ask results and any AI-generated text can be wrong. Always confirm with a qualified clinician.
