1. What BabyWise is
BabyWise is a free, browser-based pregnancy companion for week tracking, calendar notes, simple readings, and optional AI-assisted “Ask” answers via free-tier Gemini on our server.
The product is provided “as is” for personal, non-commercial use. We may change or discontinue features without notice.

2. Not medical advice
BabyWise is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Calendar reminders, safety badges, and Ask / AI text can be incomplete or wrong. Always confirm decisions with a qualified clinician. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for data stored in your browser (including backups before clearing site data).
- If you connect Google, you must comply with Google’s terms for the account and APIs you use. Free-tier quotas and rate limits still apply.
- Do not misuse the service (abuse, automated scraping of Ask, or attempts to disrupt hosting).

4. Third-party services
Hosting (Cloudflare), optional Gemini Ask, and analytics (Google Tag Manager) are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes by those providers.

5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of this app are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for health outcomes related to reliance on the app. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using BabyWise and clear local data.

6. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
