Application purpose

The purpose of the BabyWise application is to help pregnant people and their partners track pregnancy progress and manage day-to-day pregnancy care logistics on their own device.

BabyWise provides:

• Pregnancy week and day tracking from last menstrual period or due date
• A calendar for medicines, appointments, and personal notes
• Simple reading logs and optional local reminders on this device
• An in-app Ask feature for pregnancy-safety style information (not medical advice)

BabyWise is local-first: profile, calendar, and medicine logs stay in the browser on the user’s device. We do not operate a cloud database of personal pregnancy journals.

BabyWise is a free web application for people who are pregnant or supporting a pregnancy. The product name displayed to users is exactly BabyWise.

How Ask works

Ask sends your question to our Worker, which calls free-tier Gemini with a server API key. You do not sign in with Google and you do not paste an API key. Calendar and medicine data stay on your device.
